This extraordinary coffee hails from ancient Narino, Colombia, standing tall between 1500-2400 MASL. The Inga, an indigenous community formerly part of the northernmost Inca empire, inhabit the land here, abiding by a “cabildo” of elders who protect ancestral customs. Using the heavy, cold winds, the coffee is treated using a complex honey process that involves leaving the bean in its mucilage for 20-45 days to ensure an even drying process. This exceptional coffee creates a silky-smooth cup that's jam-packed with flavour.
